Friday, February 05, 2010 Bridgestone Introduces Its Blizzak WS70 Winter Tire
 Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC has unveiled its next generation winter tire, the Blizzak WS70, which will be available early next summer. The new Blizzak WS70 will be available in 35 T speed rated tires for 15- to 18-inch wheel diameters in the 70 to 45 series. The Blizzak WS-70 features the proprietary NanoPro-Tech rubber compound, which is more flexible to temperature variations, and improved Multicell technology for better traction on ice and snow. It also features better water drainage through wider channels. Nonetheless, the actual WS60 will still be available, as well as the LM60 and DM-V1. (ED)
