OTC Unveils Digital Scope With Video Output
OTC’s new inspection scope (P/N 3880) is for remote inspection of areas generally inaccessible to the naked eye. It has a distal video camera at the end of a water-resistant Staylock shaft used for the internal inspection of engines and other automotive applications, without disassembly.
Measuring only 10 mm in diameter, the shaft is ideal for probing hard-to-reach areas normally hidden from sight. The high-resolution, colour LCD screen provides crystal-clear video. Imaging and illumination are provided by a full colour camera with dual solid state LEDs. The large 2.5” full colour LCD screen lets you observe live video output from the distal camera and the RCA feature provides optional viewing on a larger screen.
The scope is battery powered and offers 4 hours of operating time on 4 AA batteries—included in the kit purchase. (SB)
