Tuesday, December 14, 2010 Bosch Acquires RTI Technologies Co., Ltd.
 Bosch is expanding in the automotive air conditioning service market with the acquisition of RTI Technologies Co., Ltd. (RTI) on December 7th.
RTI specializes in the development and distribution of automotive maintenance equipment including air condition service (ACS) machines. RTI, established in 1990 and based in York, Pennsylvania (USA), had sales of $12.0 million US in 2009 and employs 36 associates, all of whom will be retained by Bosch.
This acquisition allows Bosch to be uniquely positioned to provide access to the technology needed to deliver the new R1234yf refrigerant.
