Yokohama to Discuss Orange Oil at TIA Environmental Symposium

“Orange is the New Green” will be the topic of discussion from Dan Guiney, director of technical services at Yokohama Tire Corp., at the Tire Industry Association (TIA) Environmental Symposium, to be held in Ocean City Sept. 30-Oct. 2.

Mr. Guiney will describe Yokohama’s use of orange oil, a natural, renewable resource, to make passenger tires that are 80-percent petroleum-free while offering superb road grip and gas savings to consumers. He will discuss how orange oil is part of Yokohama’s “Green Initiative,” an overall company campaign to make world-class, environmentally friendly tires with zero-emission manufacturing.

For more information on the TIA Environmental Symposium, visit the “Events” section of TIA’s website.
