Thursday, February 19, 2009 Yokohama sponsors Quebec’s Gazelles in an all-female off-road adventure
 Yokohama Tire (Canada) has announced it would be the title sponsor of a Québec duo in the 19th annual international Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles that will be held in Morocco in March. First-time competitors Julie Lévesque and Geneviève Bachand will act as the driver and the co-driver of Team 172 (more than 200 teams will compete). They will carry the Yokohama banner as it is the first time the tire maker is sponsoring the event. Both competitors will give 10 percent of the proceeds they earn for research on breast cancer (Fondation Cure du Québec).
