Toyo’s 1001-Horsepower Monster

Toyo Tire has announced that they’ll have on display a 1001-horsepower Cadillac at their SEMA booth this year. Known as “Le Monstre,” this is a one-of-a-kind 2012 CTS-V Coupe from renowned Cadillac tuner, The D3 Group.

The D3 Le Monstre is a tribute to the 1950 Cadillac Coupe Series 61 (that car dubbed Le Monstre by the French media), which competed in the 1950 24 Hours of LeMans.

Featuring a sinister matte black wrap by Wraptivo and a custom wide-body, Le Monstre will roll on 275/30ZR20 and 345/25ZR20 Toyo Proxes T1R UHP summer tires. It gets its power from a 427 CID engine fed by a 3.6L supercharger system cranking out a monstrous 1,001-horsepower and 1,000 lb. ft. of torque.
