Thursday, December 16, 2010 Titanic Agreement Between Two Major Tire Manufacturers
 Titan Tire Corporation, a subsidiary of Titan International, Inc., has come to an agreement with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company to buy their tire business to agricultural companies in Europe and South America. This includes a licensed agreement allowing Titan to manufacture and sell agricultural tires in Europe, Africa, Eastern Europe, Russia, South America and North America. The deal was closed at $130 US millions subject to further adjustments after closure.
This agreement should boost Titan International incomes by about $400 millions annually according to Maurice Taylor, Chairman and CEO.
