Friday, May 21, 2010 Tire confirmed for the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze Eco
 As it was announced on our web site on April 22nd 2010, General Motors has selected the 17-inch Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tire as the original equipment fitment for the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze Eco.
The selection of the Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max as the standard tire for the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze Eco follows exclusive OE fitments for the 2011 Chevrolet Volt, the 2010 Toyota Prius and the 2010 Ford Fusion S. The tire is also sold in the aftermarket.
The Assurance Fuel Max features a fuel-saving tread compound that is engineered to reduce energy loss as the tire rolls. GM believes that the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze Eco will achieve an estimated 7,0 litres/100km on the highway when combined with a six-speed manual transmission.
The vehicle is expected in dealer showrooms in the fourth quarter 2010.
