These five duos were chosen within the hundred of mechanically-minded people who participated in the first leg of the contest. Consequently, the five driver/co-driver duos will have to face a series of challenges while driving a used car throughout the country. And many surprises await them.
By visiting www.naparally5000.ca, you can learn more about those participants. And it will be possible to interact with the teams on Rally NAPA 5000’s Facebook page. From August 13 to 27, you will also be able to follow all the action thanks to a daily webisode. Here are, according to the rules, the five different teams:
Sainte Gravelle (Québec): Rick Grenier and Émilie Derganc
Smoking Turbots (Maritimes): Stéphane Poirier and Michel Plourde
410 Patrol (Ontario): Jen Horsey and Cameron Neilands
Prairie Dogs (Prairies): Jordan Dyck and Mark Nodwell
Pacific Rim (British Columbia): Brian Malkinson and David Wildman.
But wait! There’s more! Read the contest rules and, as a supporter, you could win $20,000 in prizes including $10,000 in parts and products to transform your garage and a VIP week-end for four people during the NASCAR week end in Montreal. (ED)
