Friday, February 12, 2010 The 2011 Corvette Z06 to Receive Goodyear Tires
 General Motor’s Chevrolet division has chosen the newest ultra-high performance Eagle F1 SuperCar G2 tires as the original fitment for its 2011 Corvette Z06. This tire comes with an asymmetric, directional tread design with big tread blocks on the outboard shoulder to help enhance dry cornering grip. The inboard side of the tread shows Aquachannel grooves for better wet cornering grip. The tire also has distinctive lettering for an ultra-performance look. According to Bob Toth, Goodyear’s director of new products, this Eagle tire is “street-refined but track capable.” The tire will be available this summer in two run-flat sizes: P275/35ZR18 and P325/30ZR19.
