 Held June 16th and 17th at the Kingsbridge Conference Centre & Institute in Kings City, ON, the 2011 Tire & Rubber Summit was a success.
Over 80 attendees from all aspects of the Canadian rubber industry gathered to learn and exchange on the state of the industry. Organized by The Rubber Association of Canada, discussions revolved around the following themes:

The concept of zero waste in rubber manufacturing was once considered just that, a concept, an ideal, perhaps just wishful thinking. But today, with advances in technology and equipment, and continuing pressure from governments and customers alike, driving towards zero waste is closer at hand.

The panel of tire industry leaders discussed the major challenges facing the industry in Canada and also talk about their product innovations that help drive their company sustainability targets.
