Several high-level organizational changes at Yokohama

Following Jim MacMaster’s retirement on June 30 as Yokohama’s executive vice president and COO, the company has shifted several senior management positions.

Changes include Dan King, vice president of sales and marketing, expanding his leadership scope to now include corporate strategy and planning; Gary Nash being promoted to vice president of the off-the-road (OTR) division; and Yukio Kuroda now oversees technical services and product liability.

Nash, a 44-year OTR industry veteran, joined Yokohama in 1998 as director of the OTR division. In his new position, he will report directly to Oishi while Kuroda, senior director of corporate quality assurance, now also reports directly to Oishi. He had previously reported to Rex Simpson, vice president of administration.

Dan King and Jim Quinn, vice president of operations, who previously reported to MacMaster, will now report directly to Oishi. King will oversee marketing, consumer sales, commercial sales and corporate strategy and planning. Quinn will oversee logistics and supply chain planning in his post.

Previous appointments, including Naoki Takeda to chief financial officer; Kazuo (Kaz) Teramoto as chief technical advisor in the OTR division; and Takeshi (Tom) Yoshikawa as chief advisor in the corporate strategy and planning, remain unchanged.
