Prevent Leaks on Corroded Wheels with RIMLiner

Corroded wheels don’t just look bad; the rot that eats away steel and alloy wheels also makes the wheel porous. This leads to pressure loss, which in turn can result in premature tire wear, increased fuel consumption and a potentially dangerous situation when your driver is heading down the road.

Toronto-based ABC Group is offering a new solution with RIMLiner, which made its debut at the 2011 SEMA Show. Conceived, developed and made in Canada, RIMliner covers the rim from bead to bead, forming a barrier against oxidation and preventing air from leaking out through the rim.

RIMLiner is simple to install, using the same equipment and methods as when mounting a tire. It’s composed of polymer that’s specially designed to withstand temperature extremes. You can say goodbye to regularly taking off the tire, cleaning the rim with a wire brush, installing a protective coating and then putting it all back together. RIMLiner is currently in the planning stages but depending on demand, quantity manufacturing could begin this year. For more information, visit www.ABCGroupInc.com.
