Friday, November 06, 2009 Pirelli Launches a New “Green” SUV Tire
 Italian tire maker Pirelli just introduced at the Las Vegas SEMA show a brand new SUV and CUV performance tire, the Scorpion Verde. This all-season product offers low resistance for better fuel economy but still delivers high mileage. Pirelli claims that it is oil-free, while its tread pattern is designed in order to reduce road noise. The tire will first be available in 19 sizes for 16- to 20-inch wheels in the 70 to 45 ratios with T, H, and V speed ratings, the perfect fit for vehicles like the VW Touareg, the Porsche Cayenne, and the Ford Edge.
