Pirelli and Michelin to Equip the Porsche Panamera



The new Panamera sports sedan by Porsche will come equipped with Pirelli and Michelin performance tires. The base model of this exotic automobile, which will go on sale next fall, will come with Pirelli PZero 245/50ZR18 up front and 275/45ZR18 at the rear. Pirelli also announced that 255/45ZR19 and 285/40ZR19 sizes are under development. The top-of-the-line Turbo version of the Panamera will come with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 summer tires, 255/45ZR19 at the front and 285/ZR40 at the rear. An optional set of Michelins will be available with 255/40ZR20 front and 295/35ZR20 at the rear. Porsche also approved Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 winter radial for the 19-inch wheels while it has chosen Pirelli’s Winter240 Sottozero Serie II for the 18- and 20-inch wheels. (ED)
