Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. announced a new addition to its Smartway tire line approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the new G662 RSA Fuel Max.
As well as promoting energy efficiency, the G662 RSA Fuel Max is a heavy-duty tire for all axles with a deeper tread (2/32’’ than previous regional Goodyear tires). The tread is also reinforced, helping to maximize the tire’s durability in city and regional areas.
Said tire joins the ranks of other Smartway long range Goodyear products, such as G395 LHS steer, G305 LHD drive and G316 LHT trail as well as the long range Dunlop FM line (SP 384 FM steer, SP 456 FM drive and SP 193 FM).
The G662 RSA Fuel Max is available in size 11R22.5 and the 295/75R22.5 will be on the market next June.
