Thursday, September 10, 2009 New Proxes Sizes for the Nissan GT-R
 Toyo Tire has added two new sizes to its Proxes R888 R-compound tires specially designed for the Nissan GT-R supercar, a limited-production, 488 horsepower, all-wheel drive super coupe. The Proxes R888 is mostly a competition tire that will be available in two sizes: 285/35ZR20 100Y for the front wheels and 315/30ZR20 101Y for the rear wheels. The tire is easily recognized by its continuous centre contact, giving the GT-R better directional control during hard braking and its unidirectional 6/32-inch tread with V-shaped grooves for better wet traction while the semi-click shoulders are there to increase cornering force.
