On April 13, 2010, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. appointed Richard J. Kramer as its new President and CEO. Mr. Krame r thus becomes the 19th Goodyear president since its corporate foundation iin 1898.
He joined the company as finance vice-president in 2000, and was appointed vice-president, strategy in 2003. He held that position until he was assigned the responsibilities of operations supervisor in 2009.
