 The eco Solus KL21, the latest member of the Kumho lineup of eco-friendly replacement tires, is designed for crossover owners. All-season traction is provided by a tread compound that improves low-temperature grip while lowering the tire’s rolling resistance and increasing gas mileage, the tiremaker says. The tire is also easier on the environment, lowering the recurrence of rubber dust particles by as much as 10% as the tire wears.
The tire’s straight rib design and solid center rib enhance handling and stability and give consistent tread stiffness for precise steering feel, Kumho notes. With a 60,000-mile limited tread wear warranty, the tire is available in 21 sizes to fit 16- to 20-inch diameter wheels and comes in T-, H-, and V-speed ratings.
