Wednesday, February 02, 2011 Moving Ahead with Goodyear’s Planned Headquarters
 It was just announced that plans are moving ahead on a new $161 million corporate headquarters for Goodyear in its Akron, Ohio hometown.
Financing agreements were reached Monday with the city of Akron and Summit County. Monday. That means Goodyear may break ground by march fro the new HQ.
It seems that the agreement calls for the corporate headquarters to be open in 2013. Goodyear is staying in Akron for 25 years and will supply almost 3,000 jobs for the area.
