More Manufacturers Approve Continental for Winter Tires

More and more car manufacturers approve Continental as their supplier for winter tires. The trend began in Europe, where Continental has become co-supplier of tires for the compact BMW 1 Series, the trendy Mini, and the sporty BMW M3. According to BMW chassis experts, Continental tires offer an optimum mix of agile performance and good grip on wintry roads during the cold season. Continental developed the ContiWinterContact TS 810 S, which is approved for the 1 Series and the Mini in the 195/55R16 H size, while the M3 gets the wider 235/40R18 V. (ED)
