Michelins Carry World's Fastest Saloon Car

It’s already known that Michelin supplies a custom set of Pilot Sport tires to the world’s fastest production car – the Bugatti Veyron Super Sports. But now the French manufacturer has another record-setting vehicle rolling on its rubber. A BMW M5-based G-Power Hurricane RR has just set the world speed record for the fastest saloon car, at 232.5mph, fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

Michelin provided high-performance Pilot Sport tires in the following dimensions: 255/35ZR19 at the front axle and 305/30ZR19 at the rear axle. For everyday use, the G-Power Hurricane RR runs on 20-inch rims with 245/35ZR20 and 285/30ZR20 Michelins front and rear, respectively.
