More than 40,000 people interested in big rigs gathered at the Dallas Truck Show (GATS) recently. Michelin’s booth highlighted its line of ecologically efficient truck tires approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s SmartWay program.
Of the 29 tires from six manufacturers on the SmartWay ledger, Michelin’s lineup accounts for more than 30% of the list with 10 offering. The company’s SmartWay-verified offerings are: Steer Tires—XZA3 (and the XZA3 Antisplash); Drive Tires—X One XDA, X One XDN2, XDA Energy, XDA3; Trailer Tires—X ONE XTA, X ONE XTE, XTA Energy, and XT1.
