Thursday, September 10, 2009 Michelin’s New LTX M/S 2 for Light Trucks
 Michelin has recently launched an improved version of its popular LTX light truck and SUV tire—the all-season LTX M/S 2. According to Michelin, it provides better safety, longevity and, mostly, fuel efficiency. Also, it includes a new silica tread compound—Michelin Comfort Control Technology—for less vibration and road noise, and Michelin Advanced MaxTouch Construction with contact patch designed for even weight distribution during acceleration, braking, and cornering. The M/S 2 has been upgraded with Michelin’s 3D Active Sipes. Michelin has announced it will introduce 38 sizes for 15- to 20-inch wheels. (ED)
