Wednesday, June 22, 2011 Landoll Selects Double Coin Tires
 Double Coin Tires and China Manufacturers Alliance, LLC (CMA) announced its partnership with Landoll Corporation to supply Double Coin Tires for all Landoll trailer models.
“Landoll began using Double Coin’s 10R 17.5 tire and within a short period of time we knew the overall quality was better than what we had with our other suppliers,” said Jim Ladner, Sales Manager for Landoll’s Transportation Products Division. “I’ve talked to many customers and they’ve reported improved performance and less down time from Double Coin tires so we wanted to carry that quality all the way to our customers.”
Standard tires for Landoll’s trailer models include Double Coin’s RT500 with sizes from 10R17.5, 255/70R 22.5, and 235/75R 17.5. “We are very proud to be the standard tire on the complete line of Landoll trailers,” said Walt Weller, Vice President of CMA. “The demands placed on the tires with this type of equipment are substantial and we are gratified that Landoll and their customers recognize the quality and value that Double Coin tires represent.”
Landoll customers have been using more of the 255/70R 22.5 tires on their removable goose neck trailers. The 10R17.5 tires have recently been replaced with the 235/75R 17.5 tires for higher capacity. The higher capacity allows Landoll to offer a gross axle weight rating of 21,420 lbs for their heavy haul customers operating permit loads over 80,000 lbs.
