Friday, March 19, 2010 Kumho’s New Solus HM Tire
 Korean tire manufacturer Kumho just launched, in the U.S., a new high-mileage premium all-season tire, the ecological Solus HM (HM stands for High Mileage). The manufacturer specified a new compound for the tread that will allow the tire to last 100,000 miles (161,000 km). The new Solus HM will be available in 23 sizes for 13- to 17-inch wheels at a T speed index. This tire covers a range of vehicle sizes, from small sedans to minivans. (ED)
