Tuesday, December 09, 2008 Kumho Opened a Truck Tire Plant in China
 Kumho Tire recently began the production of truck tires at a new $100 million plant in Nanjing, China. The construction of the 90,000 sq. ft. facility, the fourth Kumho has in China, began 18 months ago but it is the only one dedicated to truck tires. According to its president and CEO Sae-chul Oh, Kumho is the No 1 passenger car tire maker in China. Kumho also has an R&D centre in China.
