Hankook to Supply Tires for Toyota iQ

Hankook Tire recently announced that it has been selected as a new original equipment (OE) manufacturer for Toyota. Hankook Tire is currently being factory-equipped on Toyota's micro-premium car iQ (size: 175/65R15 84S)..

This is the first time Hankook Tire will supply tires to Toyota. Hankook Tire has successfully satisfied Toyota's testing, tuning and customizing process criteria, resulting in a tire that meets the iQ’s standards.

"This latest OE agreement with another leading global car manufacturer is further testament to our continued growth, strong brand, and investment in R&D," said Mr. Soo Il Lee, President, Hankook Tire America Corp. "We are continually delivering the latest technology and highest quality tires to the market and are very excited to add Toyota to our growing list of manufacturers. We look forward to working closely with them to further strengthen and expand this partnership."
