Tuesday, June 22, 2010 Greg Lamothe Named Supply Chain Vice President
TireMonkey.com CEO Tully Ryan today announced the appointment of industry veteran Greg Lamothe as Supply Chain Vice President. Lamothe will aid in the future expansion of TireMonkey.com’s U.S. network.
While sponsoring Camping World Truck Series driver and Quebec native Mario Gosselin has helped introduce TireMonkey.com to Canada’s NASCAR set, the addition of Lamothe promises to strengthen the company’s relationship with the entire Canadian tire industry. And with eight tire distribution centers and more than 300 installers at launch, TireMonkey.com’s Canadian network is already improving the online tire-buying experience for shoppers who for years had to contend with ordering from the U.S. and shelling out extra cash for duty fees, brokerage charges and hefty international shipping.
Lamothe brings 25 years of industry experience to his new post, having worked in executive sales and marketing capacities for industry heavyweights like Bridgestone/Firestone Inc., Remington Tire and O.K. Tire Stores Inc. But it was TireMonkey.com’s innovative business model of supporting the existing distributor-retail dealer supply chain that intrigued Lamothe to make his next career move.
