Friday, February 05, 2010 Goodyear Introduces the Assurance ComforTred Touring
 American tire manufacturer Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co introduced a new tire at its dealer meeting in Orlando, Florida – the Assurance ComforTred Touring. It features what the manufacturer calls a “dual comfort zone” in the tread to help optimize comfort and handling, an asymmetric tread pattern for refined handling and confident wet traction, and wide circumferential grooves to help evacuate water away from the tread. The tire will be available in 34 “luxury and upper mid-value” P-metric and metric sizes from 195/60HR15 to P235/60VR18. Six sizes are T-rated, 16 are H-rated, and 10 are V-rated. (ED)
