According to Reuters agency, the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has offered the equivalent of $US 98 million in Polish zlotys to buy out the minority shareholders of its Polish unit, Debica. At the same time, Titan International has announced it would buy certain farm-related assets from Goodyear in Europe including the Goodyear Dunlop Tires France factory in Amiens, France, where the manufacturer intends to stop producing passenger and light-truck tires by 2010.
