Monday, May 25, 2009 Goodyear and Michelin Get J.D. Power Top Ratings
 Goodyear and Michelin North America both ranked tops in a J.D. Power and Associates 2009 Original Equipment Tire customer satisfaction study. In the case of Michelin, its luxury vehicle, passenger car, and truck/utility products were ranked the highest. As for Goodyear, it ranked the best in the performance segment. These rankings were based on owners’ experience after a full two years of ownership. Among the factors measured for the survey were: wearability, appearance, traction/handling, and ride. Pirelli Tire North America and Continental Tire North America also did well in the survey. This survey was based on responses from close to 30,000 new vehicle owners with 2007 and 2008 model year vehicles. (ED)
