Monday, March 01, 2010 Firestone Launches a New Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500
 Bridgestone Americas Tire Operation has been marketing the Firestone Firehawk performance tire for quite a while now. But at the most recent Chicago Auto Show, it unveiled its newest release, the ultra high performance Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500 which, according to the manufacturer, provides high response and powerful braking performance. It is also tuned for both wet and dry handling. It will be offered in some 40 sizes for wheels ranging from 15-inch to 20-inch diameter as all are showing a W rating. This tire is aimed at performance-minded consumers with Ford Mustangs, Chevy Camaros, Honda Civic Sis, and many other similar cars. (ED)
