Expect a New Tire from Nokian

Nokian Tyres announced at SEMA that it will soon release a new all-season tire for North America—the eNTYRE, a premium product that will be available next spring. This new non-winter tire from the Finnish manufacturer will compete with equivalent Goodyear, Bridgestone, and Michelin products but at a better price, according to the manufacturer. It will be a premium tire designed and sold only in North America and available in 26 sizes from 185/65R15 to 225/45R17 as early as the spring of 2010. The tire will be T, H, or V speed rated and will be built with “earth-friendly” oils that correspond with European Union regulations. There will be a birch leaf insignia on the sidewall of the tire to illustrate this compliance. (ED)
