 Del-Nat Tire has unveiled the Chaparral MT, the latest addition to its family of light truck tires. The Chaparral MT features an aggressive tread design, scalloped shoulder lugs, strategic siping and a surprisingly quiet ride.
The Chaparral MT offers off-road performance for both light trucks and SUVs. The tread design, with interlocking wedge-shaped centre region elements, is designed for muddy conditions and provides great traction on both soft and wet surfaces.
The alternating tread shoulder lugs are designed for maximum evacuation of mud and dirt and virtually eliminate concerns about being stuck in the mud. The unique buttress design creates biting edges in the upper sidewall for additional traction on soft surfaces while contributing to a bold, rugged appearance.
Del-Nat Tire says that new innovations, such as the specialized tread element shape, make the Chaparral MT a safe tire on the highway. The tread element shape brings more rubber to the road’s surface area, maximizing traction and reducing road noise. Each row of the tread elements is strategically siped for effective wet traction on hard surfaces.
