Wednesday, August 31, 2011 Cooper Tire Introduces New Roadmaster Rm253
 Cooper Tire & Rubber Company is pleased to introduce a new drive tire – the Roadmaster RM253 – into its popular Roadmaster commercial truck tire lineup designed for pick-up and delivery, and regional applications.
Available in 225/70R19.5 (load range F and G) and 245/70R19.5 (load range G) sizes, the new RM253 features include an application-specific tread rubber compound which helps optimize tread wear, handling and traction performance. The tire's cool-running base compound, optimized belt construction and tread package deliver the durability and retreadability fleet owners expect. The new RM253 will provide excellent all-season performance.
This traction drive tire also features aggressive geometric grooves designed to prevent stone retention and promote self-cleaning. The RM253 has an M+S (mud and snow) rating and delivers enhanced wet traction with its S-shaped or "isle" siping. Its sidewall depth indicators protect the sidewall from scuffing around the tire and indicate when a tire should be rotated to preserve the casing for retreading.
