Thursday, March 04, 2010 Cooper’s New SUV and CUV Winter Tire
 Cooper Tire and Rubber Co. launched a new line of winter tires for SUVs and CUVs during the last week of February. Called the Weather-Master WSC, this new tire is a studdable product with directional tread and a high silica compound made, according to the manufacturer, for all winter conditions. This new tire will be offered in 10 sizes for 17- and 18-inch wheel diameters not only for SUVs and CUVs, but also lighter pick-up trucks and even some passenger cars. Cooper could add more sizes in 2011. Incidentally, the design also includes 132 stud pin locations. (ED)
