Continental Supplies Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championships

The Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championships (CTCC) competitors will compete on Continental ExtremeContact tires for the coming three years.

Continental Tire Canada Inc. will supply the tires and technical support and act as the series’ presenting sponsor. Conti replaces Toyo Tire Canada, which had been the series’ presenting sponsor and tire supplier for the past four years.

The CTCC, entering its fifth season, features two classes of competition: Touring for cars with minimal engine modifications and maximum engine size of 2 liters, and Super Touring for heavily modified touring cars with maximum engine size of 2.8 liters. The CTCC has scheduled seven race weekends this year, starting May 21-22 at Mosport International Raceway.
