Friday, March 26, 2010 Continental’s New Deep Lug Drive Tire Verified by SmartWay
 Continental’s new low rolling resistance HDL2 DL Eco Plus that will be released in June has already been proven to be part of EPA’s SmartWay. The HDL2 DL Eco Plus (Heavy Drive Long Haul Deep Lug) was designed by Continental to provide long original mileage with the deepest 32/32 (a full inch) tread depth. This tire provides great traction in both wet and dry road conditions, according to the manufacturer. This new Continental tire joins five other Continental commercial truck tires approved to be part of EPA’s SmartWay list. It will be available in 275/80R22.5. (ED)
