Thursday, September 17, 2009 Continental Is Now the Sole Owner of Matador Rubber
 German tire manufacturer Continental AG has just announced it had completed the acquisition of Continental Matador Rubber S.r.o. based in Slovak Republic. Continental has done so by acquiring the remaining 34% share of the tire maker. Continental had already bought 51% control of Matador back in November 2007, increasing it later last year to 66%. Continental Matador operates two factories in Puchov, Slovak Republic, the first one for passenger and light truck tires and the other one for commercial truck tires. (ED)
