Thursday, April 09, 2009 Continental Has Moved its North American HQ
 Continental Tire North America has now moved its headquarters from Charlotte, NC to a 75,000 sq. ft. $11 million office complex in Lancaster County, SC, 12 miles further south. This new facility will house 375 employees. The older building next to a tire plant was sold to a Philadelphia developer, Patriot Equities, but Continental will lease back about 600,000 sq. ft. Continental will still keep about 160 workers at the Charlotte facility for rubber mixing and warehousing facilities. (ED)
