Friday, May 15, 2009 Continental and Marangoni Team Up to Offer Truck Tire Retreads
 Continental Tire North America is about to offer retread commercial truck tires in North America. The German manufacturer will thus team up with Marangoni Tread North America in testing ContiTread retreads for specific fleets and customers. The ContiTread should then be launched in July in the U.S. and Canada. ContiTread products will be available in two retread designs based on the HDL Eco Plus and HTL Eco Plus. Both will use the Marangoni Ringtread system, a single piece tread matching the size of the tire. The idea was first heard at Montreal’s Expocam. (ED)
