CNTA Changes Its Name

CNTA used to be Continental Tire North America Inc. It has now changed names and will from now on be called Continental Tire the Americas LLC. This decision was made to better reflect the company’s increased responsibility for both North and South America. The change took effect January 31. “We felt that this name change was appropriate due to our growth in the key South American markets as well as our improved position in North America,” said Matthias Schoenberg, CEO of Continental Tire the Americas.
