Tuesday, April 07, 2009 Bridgestone Launches Its New Potenza RE-11
 Japanese manufacturer Bridgestone just launched a new Potenza performance tire, the RE-11, which will replace the classic RE-01R. The tire comes with a unique design recognizable by its sidewalls and its new “stealth” blocs inspired by its Formula 1 race tires. This concept provides a harder treadwear capable of faster water dispersion. The asymmetric design shows outer blocs that help performance in the curves and circumferential grooves that chase water away to prevent aquaplaning. The V and W speed rated RE-11with a 180 AA UTQG rating will be available in 31 sizes for 15- to 19-inch wheels. (ED)
