BRABUS and Continental Enter into Technology Partnership

Continental and BRABUS, vehicle tuner and manufacturer of high performance cars, are entering into a technology partnership. A corresponding agreement was signed by Nikolai Setzer, head of the Tires division and member of Continental AG’s Executive Board, and Prof. Bodo Buschmann, CEO of BRABUS, on September 13 at the IAA. Both partners to the agreement want to pool their expertise in order to harmonize the tires and vehicles even better, thus making sporty driving all the safer.

Continental and BRABUS dispose of wide-ranging know-how in the production of sporty products in the high-end segment. “Where the power of the vehicle is transmitted, that is where we can leverage synergies with regards to sporty driving and safety by pooling our experience,” Setzer reports. “With our high performance cars and tuning components, we are banking together on the expertise of our developers to bring sportiness, comfort and safety to a new level in vehicle tuning,” adds Buschmann.
