Monday, June 13, 2011 BFGoodrich Presents Rugged
 Rugged, a new television show presented by BFGoodrich and featuring a wide array of adrenaline sports, is coming to Sportsnet beginning October 2011. From off-road racing and surfing to skydiving, mountain biking and drifting, the show will present each sport in an entirely new light.
Pure adrenaline
Developed for fun and performance enthusiasts, the show will delve into the history, innovation and technology of “adrenaline” sports as well as profile the athletes who are drawn to these sports.
An initiative of the BFGoodrich team, Rugged will stoke the passion of sports enthusiasts while introducing them to innovative and exhilarating sports. The entire team has been energized by this challenge throughout taping. Tim Deegan (Much Music) and Claudine Prévost (CKOI, Musimax, TVA, Télé-Québec, Évasion) will host the English and French versions of the show respectively, which are produced by Rat Films. Known for their love of adventure and risk-taking, these two fearless individuals will travel the continent from north to south meeting athletes and attending events that are unlike any other. RDS will broadcast the French version of Rugged under the name Pur & Dur.

Not only has the Rugged team immersed itself in this challenge, it has also assured Web fans an inside view of the action online. Starting today, the website at www.facebook.com/BFGoodrichCanada will offer sneak peeks of the project, details about the hosts, exciting clips from taping, upcoming taping and broadcast schedules, and a look at what goes on “backstage.”
