Thursday, May 21, 2009 Andreas Gerstenberger Will Head Up Conti Retail in Europe
 Andreas Gerstenberger, who until very recently was vice president Marketing and Sales for Continental Tire in North America, will soon become the executive vice president of the company’s tire trading in Europe, effective August 1. Bill Caldwell, responsible for OE passenger and light truck tire business in the Americas, will replace him. Gerstenberger will then oversee more than 2,000 retail and franchise outlets in 12 European countries. Gerstenberger was recognized by Mathias Schönberg, CEO of Continental Tires in America, as having played a pivotal role in building excellent marketing and sales teams in North America. (ED)
