Snap-on Tools announces Dual 80 ratchet

Snap-on Tools has announced a new ratchet with Dual 80 Technology, which has won awards as one of the best new tools on the market and is rapidly becoming popular with technicians.

The ratchet contains an extremely fine-tooth gear with 80 teeth on a head that’s just 1-13/16 inches wide and 1/2-inch deep. The 80 teeth provide a smaller ratcheting arc than any other on the market. The combination of the smaller arc and compact head makes the ratchet an excellent tool for extremely tight quarters.

The ratchet pawls transfer up to 280 lb-ft of torque, with each pawl maintaining contact with seven ratchet teeth for greater control, smooth movement, and more torque transfer over a larger contact area.
