Panasonic Toughbook’s Enterprise-Grade Android Tablet

Panasonic Solutions Company announced its plan to deliver an enterprise-grade Android tablet to the market later this year. The Toughbook tablet is designed to address a current gap in the market by introducing a secure, durable and functional device. The tablet will feature a high brightness, daylight viewable 10.1” screen and include an integrated active stylus to enable signature capture in the field. Panasonic has also addressed security needs in the market by embedding security features at the hardware level.

Keeping in line with the Toughbook brand, known for its reliable and durable mobile computers, the Toughbook tablet is designed to meet durability certifications and ingress protection ratings consistent with other Toughbook fully-rugged devices.

The Toughbook tablet is designed for highly mobile field forces, including service bay technicians and claims estimators.
