German Engineering to Improve Your Fleet’s Bottom Line

Philippe Crowe

On Tuesday May 31st, Ontario-region fleet managers had an opportunity to experience select Volkswagen and Audi vehicles, including the all-new Audi A7 and Volkswagen Passat. The event also featured an extensive line up of fuel-efficient TDI Clean Diesels.

Almost fifty fleet managers showed up for this event held by Volkswagen and Audi in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON.

Fleet managers got to understand the unique value proposition Volkswagen models have to offer across this German manufacturer’s line-up. Of particular note for fleets with users covering a greater than average distance is the TDI engine, now offered in most models, including the new Passat. This very fuel-efficient Diesel engine allows impressive fuel savings and, combined with a high resale value, make this a very sensible choice.

Attendees were favorably impressed by the redesigned Passat, with high mentions for the power of both engines and the comfort of the interior; its spaciousness brought many positive comments.

On the Audi side, a lot of emphasis was placed on the high-technology content of all Audi vehicles as well as on how this brand is well suited to a fleet’s executives. The redesigned A6, as well as all the other models, wowed fleet managers by their performance and comfort.

A similar event was held June 10th in Montebello, QC.
